Supplements: the category where almost every sentence that sells is a regulated claim
A supplement page has to explain a mechanism to somebody who has tried three things that did not work. The sentences that do that job are the same sentences a regulator reads most carefully, which is why this category cannot use a generator that writes first and looks for support afterwards.
What makes this category different from every other one on this site
In most categories, the claims that carry legal weight are a minority of the page and the rest is positioning. Here it inverts. A supplement buyer has usually already bought something that did not work, so the page has to say what this does, how, and how fast, and every one of those three sentences reads as a health claim whether or not it was written as one.
That is why the flagging on a generated page is not decoration in this vertical. Health is the first of the three regulated categories the claim grader escalates, it escalates whatever the evidence says, and on a supplement page it will typically catch most of what the copy leans on.
The output is a list of exactly which sentences those are, with the source each one rests on. What you do with them is your call and your compliance team's. What does not happen is a claim getting exported with nothing behind it.
Where the evidence a supplement buyer trusts actually lives
The review of the thing that failed
Not your reviews. Reviews of the product they bought before yours, which is where the specific disappointment is written down: the dose that was too low, the taste, the fourth week with nothing happening.
Public discussion, with the subreddit named
Long threads where people compare what they took and what happened. Quoted with the community it came from and never with a username, because a person who posted about their sleep did not consent to being in your ad.
Your own formulation facts
Extracted from your site, editable, and lockable so a fact your team signed off survives every later regeneration of the page.
What the answer engines say today
Increasingly the first comparison a buyer gets, and the one they arrive already holding. Worth knowing before you write against it.
What we say, and what we never say
Every factual claim on the page is source-linked, and the source is shown. That is the sentence this product is allowed to say.
We do not tell you a supplement page is compliant. We do not know your jurisdiction, your substantiation file, your label, or what your regulator has said to you before. This is compliance assistance, not compliance, and you confirm the claims, the testimonials and the endorsements before anything goes live.
The format that usually fits
Usually the advertorial, because the mechanism needs more room than a feed visitor will give a product page, and because a supplement buyer who has been disappointed before wants the why before the what. When they are already comparing three tubs, the listicle does better.
If you have a supplement page running today, the fastest way to see what this does is the free claim risk scanner: it flags the health claims separately and lists the ones that point at nothing a reader could open.
Start with your product URL
We read your site, your reviews and your competitors before writing anything, and every factual claim on the page carries the source it came from. Presell is included with Compete.
