Thank you for using Linkeddit ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our website located at https://linkeddit.com (the "Website").

1. Information We Collect

Personal Information:
- Name
- Email address
- Payment information (processed securely through our payment processors)

Non-Personal Information:
- Web cookies for site functionality and user experience
- Browser and device information
- Usage patterns and preferences

Free Tool Inputs (signed-in users only):
Some of our free tools have an additional layer that requires a free account. When you are signed in and use one of those tools, we retain a limited record of what you asked it about:
- The website address you entered, stored as a bare domain name only (for example "acme.com"), never a full URL
- A target keyword or question, where the tool asks for one
- A brand name or competitor names, where the tool asks for them
- Which tool you used and how many times

We do not retain this for signed-out visitors. We do not store the text you paste into tools such as the readability checker or the keyword density checker, we do not store the page content we fetch on your behalf, and we do not store your IP address or browser user agent alongside these records. Full page addresses are reduced to a domain before storage, because a pasted URL can carry a session token or an email address in its query string.

Presell Measurement Tag (visitors to our customers' own websites):
Linkeddit customers can place a small measurement script, served by us at https://linkeddit.com/pt.js, on pages they own. This section is about the people who visit those pages. If you are one of them, you have no relationship with Linkeddit, and this describes everything the script does.

On those pages, our customer is the data controller and Linkeddit is their processor. We process what the script sends on their instructions and for no other purpose. We do not sell it, we do not use it to build audiences or profiles, and we do not combine it with anything else.

The script records, for the page it is on:
- That the page was viewed, and how far down it was scrolled
- Clicks on the page's call-to-action button and on links leaving the page
- A conversion, if the customer has chosen to report one, and the value they attach to it
- The page address, the referring address, and the standard utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content and utm_term parameters
- A random identifier the script generates in your browser, stored in that site's own local storage, which distinguishes a repeat visit on that one site and means nothing anywhere else

The script does not do the following, and these are not settings that can be turned on:
- It sets no cookie, and no third-party cookie of any kind
- It collects no name, email address, phone number or any other personal detail, and has no field to put one in
- It does not record your IP address. Our servers necessarily see one to answer any web request, as every website's do, but it is discarded and never stored, not in full and not truncated
- It does not record your browser user agent
- It does not follow you between websites, and it cannot: the identifier is specific to the one site it was created on
- It does not collect click identifiers such as gclid or fbclid, which can carry an identity

If your browser sends Do Not Track, or Global Privacy Control, the script stops before it records anything at all. No view, no identifier, no request. Both signals are honoured.

We keep the raw records for 90 days, after which they are deleted automatically every day. We keep daily totals, which contain no identifier and cannot be traced to a visit, for as long as the customer's account is open.

If you want these records removed, the customer who runs the website is the person to ask, because the data is theirs. They can reach us and we will action it for them.

2. How We Use Your Information

We collect your personal information for:
- Processing your orders and subscriptions
- Providing access to our services
- Communicating important updates about our service
- Improving your user experience
- Contacting you about the tools you have used, including relevant product information, and understanding which tools are worth maintaining

You can ask us to delete your free tool inputs at any time using the contact address below, and they are deleted automatically when you delete your account.

3. Data Sharing and Protection

We do not share your personal information with any third parties except as necessary for payment processing. Your data security is our priority, and we implement appropriate measures to protect your information.

4. Children's Privacy

Linkeddit is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete such information.
