What is Linkeddit Studio?
Linkeddit Studio is a desktop video and image editor for Mac and Windows that your own AI drives. You connect Claude Code, Codex or another MCP client, and it edits on your computer.
Does it work with Claude Code and Codex?
Yes. Studio runs your installed Claude Code or Codex in its agent panel, and other MCP clients such as Cursor or Claude Desktop can connect to its local MCP server.
Can Claude Code or Codex edit my existing video footage?
Yes. In Linkeddit Studio, your connected agent can trim and split clips, edit the transcript, add captions and export video, with changes visible on the timeline and available to undo.
Does Linkeddit Studio generate captions without a cloud API?
Yes, Whisper captions run on your computer after a one-time model download. Studio burns captions into the exported video; it does not export separate SRT or VTT subtitle files.
Is Linkeddit Studio available for Mac and Windows?
Yes, Linkeddit Studio is a desktop app for macOS and Windows. A $99 one-time licence covers up to 3 computers, and AI subscriptions or provider usage are paid separately.
Is it a subscription?
No. Studio costs $99 once with no renewals or Linkeddit AI credits; your agent subscription or API provider usage is paid separately.
Do my files or keys leave my computer?
Studio stores projects and media on your disk and API keys in your system keychain. Connected AI providers receive the inputs needed for your requests; licence activation, on-device model downloads and app updates also use the network.
How many computers can I use it on?
One licence covers up to 3 computers. You can free a slot from the Devices page in your dashboard.
Why does Windows show a warning when I install it?
The Windows installer is not code-signed yet, so SmartScreen may warn you the first time. Choose More info, then Run anyway.
How does Studio relate to Linkeddit Core?
Linkeddit Core is our separate demand and competitor intelligence platform. Studio does not need it.
