Switcher pages, argued from the incumbent's own reviews

Somebody already paying a competitor is not weighing your product against nothing. They are weighing it against the cost of moving, and the only argument that clears that bar is one built from what their current product is actually doing to them.

The format a single-URL page builder cannot produce

Every other format on this site can be written from your own website. A generator reads your product page, understands what you sell, and produces an advertorial or a listicle that is at least about the right thing.

A switcher page cannot be written that way, because it is mostly about somebody else. It needs what a named competitor's users say about them, dated and attributable; what that competitor has recently done, priced, launched or dropped; and what buyers leaving them give as the reason. None of that is on your website, and no amount of model quality invents it.

That corpus is the part of this that is hard to copy, and it is the reason this format exists here and nowhere else in the category.

The rule that makes this format defensible

Not every complaint we can find is one we will publish. Evidence that has a source URL and a date may back a claim on the page. Evidence that has neither may still steer the page, telling the generator which objection is the dominant one, and may never appear on it as a fact.

It is a deliberate constraint, and it is the difference between a page that says reviewers report a problem and links to the review, and a page that says it because a summary somewhere implied it. Against a named competitor, the second kind is not an argument. It is a liability with a headline.

Comparative claims are one of the three categories escalated whatever the evidence says, so on this format almost every sentence that matters is flagged with the standard it is held to and the source it rests on. A claim nothing supports cannot be exported until you resolve it.

We say every factual claim on the page is source-linked and show you the source. We do not tell you the page is legally compliant, and comparative advertising rules differ by jurisdiction and by category.

If the competitor data is thin, it declines rather than invents

A switcher page needs a named competitor with enough citable evidence behind them to argue from. When that is not there, the honest outcome is not a thinner switcher page, it is a different format, and the generator says so rather than producing something that looks like the real thing with nothing underneath it.

You can see the raw material before you commit to anything. The free competitor complaint finder gives you every switching-intent search for a named competitor, live-linked across the review sites and forums, so you can read what is actually out there about them in a few minutes.

Where the rest of the intelligence lives

A switcher page is one use of a corpus that is doing other work. Compete grades what each tracked competitor did this week and what their users complained about, and Answer Radar measures which of them the answer engines recommend when a buyer asks your category's question. Presell is where that turns into a page, and all three are on the same plan.

Start with your URL

We find who buyers compare you against, gather what they complain about, and write the page from that. Every complaint on it carries a link and a date, and one that carries neither may shape the argument but never appears as a fact.

Create an account and we read your site, your reviews and what buyers say about the competitor you are losing to.

Presell is included with Compete, alongside competitor intelligence and Answer Radar. See pricing.
