CMS Tier Limits and Usage

The Linkeddit CMS tracks several types of usage across campaigns, content pieces, AI generations, and research tools. Understanding what counts toward each limit helps you plan your workflows and avoid interruptions. This guide covers every limit category and how Free and Pro plans differ.

What counts toward limits

There are six categories of usage tracked in the CMS. Campaigns counts the total number of active campaigns in your account. Content Pieces counts all non-deleted content cards across all campaigns, regardless of status. AI Generations counts individual generation requests submitted through the content generator modal.

ScraperAPI Credits are consumed by any operation that fetches live Reddit data, including research report generation and certain generation paths. Research Reports counts the total number of analysis reports created. Chat Messages counts individual messages sent in research chat sessions across all reports and campaigns.

Free vs Pro comparison

Free accounts are subject to per-category limits designed for individuals exploring the CMS before committing to a paid plan. Free includes one campaign, ten content pieces across that campaign, two AI generations per day, five ScraperAPI credits per day, three research reports total, and ten research chat messages per day.

Pro accounts receive substantially higher limits suited for ongoing content operations. Pro includes unlimited campaigns, unlimited content pieces, ten AI generations per day, twenty ScraperAPI credits per day, unlimited research reports, and fifty research chat messages per day. These limits are designed to support a consistent daily content workflow without interruption.

Upgrading your plan

If you reach any limit on the Free plan, the relevant action will be disabled with a prompt to upgrade. Upgrades are processed through Stripe and take effect immediately. You do not lose any existing content, campaigns, or reports when upgrading from Free to Pro.

To upgrade, navigate to the Pricing page or click the upgrade prompt that appears when you hit a limit. If you are already logged in, the upgrade flow will pre-fill your account details and take you directly to payment.

What happens at the limit

When you reach a daily limit such as AI generations, ScraperAPI credits, or chat messages, the affected action becomes unavailable until midnight UTC when the daily counter resets. You will see a clear message explaining which limit you have hit and when it resets.

When you reach a total limit such as campaign count or content piece count on the Free plan, you must either upgrade to Pro or delete existing items to make room. Daily limits reset automatically each day without any action required on your part.

FAQ

Can I temporarily exceed my plan limits?

No. Limits are enforced at the point of action. If you have used all of your daily AI generations, the generate button will be disabled until the next reset. You must upgrade to continue working past a hard limit.

Do research reports count against my content piece limit?

No. Research reports are tracked separately under the Research Reports limit category. They do not consume content piece quota. Only content cards created on the kanban board count against the content pieces limit.
