Content Calendar Guide for the Reddit CMS

The content calendar in the Linkeddit CMS gives you a time-based view of your campaign's content pipeline. Instead of looking at content by status, the calendar organizes it by date, making it easy to spot gaps in your posting schedule and plan for upcoming publishing windows.

Scheduled vs published content

Scheduled content appears on the calendar as a planned post. It exists in the CMS but has not yet been published to Reddit. The CMS does not automatically post to Reddit on your behalf. Scheduled dates are planning markers that remind you when a post is intended to go live.

Once you have posted the content to Reddit manually, return to the CMS and move the card to the Posted column. This updates the calendar event to reflect its published status and keeps your reporting accurate.

Planning a posting cadence

A consistent posting cadence is one of the most important factors in building Reddit presence. Most subreddits reward accounts that contribute regularly over time rather than posting in bursts. The calendar makes it easy to distribute content evenly across the week and across different subreddit targets.

A useful habit is to review the calendar every Monday to check what is scheduled for the week, identify any subreddits with no planned posts, and either schedule existing ready content or kick off a new AI generation session to fill the gaps.

Spotting gaps in your schedule

The month view is particularly useful for identifying stretches where no content is scheduled. Long gaps between posts in a given subreddit can slow audience growth and reduce the effectiveness of your Reddit presence over time.

Use the filter on the calendar to view content by subreddit target. This lets you check each community individually and ensure you are maintaining at least a minimum posting frequency for each one based on the subreddit's activity level and your goals.

FAQ

Does the calendar show content from all campaigns at once?

No. The calendar is scoped to the current campaign. Switch campaigns using the campaign selector to view scheduled content for a different campaign.

Can I create new content directly from the calendar?

Yes. Click on any day in the calendar to open a quick-create modal that pre-fills the scheduled date with the day you clicked. This lets you plan content for a specific date without going back to the kanban board.
