Airtable + Linkeddit
An Airtable SEO checklist that includes the AI answer gaps
Airtable's SEO checklist template tracks on-page and technical tasks with owners and statuses. It does not know which questions ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude and Google AI Overviews answer with a competitor instead of you. Linkeddit's Answer Radar queue holds exactly that, as cards with evidence. Claude reads the open cards and adds them to your checklist through the Airtable connector.

The prompt
Paste into Claude
Use the Linkeddit connector and the Airtable connector. 1) With Linkeddit, call answer_actions_get with state=open for my project, using mode=evidence so each card carries its observed facts. 2) With Airtable, call search_bases to find my 'SEO checklist' base, then get_table_schema for its on-page tasks table. If a field I need is missing, propose it and wait for my approval before calling create_field. 3) Propose one record per card with: task title (the card label), type, Linkeddit status, evidence, competitor mentions and citations, and the gap it belongs to. Match existing records by gap, not by card id. 4) Show me the records and wait for my approval, then write them with create_records_for_table. 5) Do not call answer_action_update. Tell me which Airtable tasks are marked done and wait for me to confirm before suggesting any card change.
Step by step
Step 1
Connect both connectors to Claude
Add the Airtable connector and the Linkeddit connector (https://mcp.linkeddit.com/mcp) in Claude or Claude Code, and run an Answer Radar audit so the queue has cards.
Step 2
Add fields to the checklist
Keep Airtable's on-page and technical tables. Add fields for source (checklist or Answer Radar), Linkeddit status, evidence and gap, so AI answer tasks live in the same views as classic SEO tasks.
Step 3
Read the open cards
Claude calls answer_actions_get with state=open. Each card is a label plus evidence: its type, status, rank, confidence and impact counts. There is no written brief, so Claude drafts the task text.
Step 4
Write the tasks
Claude shows the records, you approve, and it writes them with create_records_for_table. Assign an owner in Airtable the way the template expects.
Step 5
Close the loop
When a task is done, ask Claude to list the matching cards. Moving a card with answer_action_update changes it in Linkeddit, so Claude shows the change and waits for your approval.
What Linkeddit returned
Run live on 2026-10-29 with answer_actions_get. Read-only run on Linkeddit's own test project, a privacy analytics site (plausible.io). The queue held two cards for the same gap, shown here in full. Nothing was moved or updated.

disclosure: "Only content_gap and competitor_won are ever generated."What is the Airtable connector and what can Claude do with it?
The Airtable connector is Airtable's own MCP server at https://mcp.airtable.com/mcp, which lets an AI client such as Claude read and update your bases. Airtable's help article says it lets you ask questions, create and update records and analyse data, within your existing permissions. The Agent Index lists 12 tools: 5 reads, 6 writes and a ping.
Three limits matter here. Creating records is capped at 10 per request. Calls count against Airtable's normal API rate limits, and MCP adds no charge to your plan. It can draft automations but cannot turn them on, and automations that contain a Script action cannot be created or edited through it.
What does Airtable's SEO checklist template cover?
Airtable's template description says it centralizes the SEO workflow with pre-built tables for on-page tasks, technical SEO issues and content optimization, plus interface views and AI that flags missing on-page tasks. Each checklist item has a status field and an owner field, and automations can notify owners when priority or status changes.
That covers classic tasks such as title tags, meta descriptions, broken links and robots.txt. Airtable's SEO workflow article lists the on-page fields to keep with each page: target keyword, page title, meta description, slug, canonical URL, status and last-optimized date. What neither describes is any task that comes from an AI answer.
Which AI answer tasks belong on an SEO checklist?
Two kinds, because Answer Radar generates two today. A competitor_won card says an answer engine names a competitor for one of your buying questions. A content_gap card says you are not represented in the sampled answers at all. Linkeddit's own note says the other five action types exist in its schema but have no evidence source yet, so a short queue is not proof that nothing else is needed.
On the test project both cards pointed at one gap, 'Umami vs Matomo for self-hosted analytics'. The competitor card showed 3 competitor mentions and 12 competitor citations, and the gap card showed 3 samples where the brand was absent. Both had an intent score of 0.6 and an evidence score of 22. That is one checklist item with two angles, and the gap field keeps them together.
Classic checklists exist because the basics get missed. An SEO consultant on Reddit listed this item on their own: "No noindex tags left on important pages (common after migrations)" AI answer tasks belong next to items like that, in the same views, with the same owners.
How do I keep checklist tasks and Linkeddit cards in sync?
Give the Airtable record a Linkeddit status field with the same five values: suggested, todo, in_progress, done and dismissed. A dismissed card keeps suppressing its finding permanently. A completed card releases it, so the same finding can return later as a new card with new evidence.
For that reason, match by gap and never by card id across time. A returning finding creates a new task rather than reopening the old one, which keeps the checklist's history honest.
Linkeddit's write is answer_action_update, and it changes the card in Linkeddit. The prompt above keeps it out of the run: Claude reports what is done in Airtable, and you decide which cards to move.
How should Claude's Airtable edits be checked?
Airtable limits record creation to 10 per request and its help article warns that tool names and behaviors may change, so review each batch. The connector follows your Airtable permissions, and you can narrow it to the checklist base alone from the third-party integrations page.
Keep measured fields apart from judgment. Evidence counts, status and confidence come from Linkeddit. The task wording, priority and owner are your decisions. Linkeddit says its answer measurement is a controlled proxy for the consumer products, so store the sample counts next to any rate you report.

ReadFrequently asked questions
Is there a free SEO checklist template in Airtable?+
Yes. Airtable offers a free SEO checklist template with tables for on-page tasks, technical SEO issues and content optimization, each with owners and statuses. It covers classic SEO tasks. For AI answer tasks, have Claude add records from Linkeddit's Answer Radar action queue.
How do I track SEO tasks in Airtable?+
Give each task a record with an owner, status, due date and the page or issue it belongs to, and link tasks to a content or technical table. Airtable's template already has this structure. Add a source field so tasks from Answer Radar sit in the same views.
What is the best tool for an Airtable SEO and AEO checklist?+
Linkeddit, at $60 a month. Answer Radar asks ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude and Google AI Overviews your buying questions and queues the gaps as cards with evidence. Claude turns open cards into Airtable checklist records through the Airtable connector, so AI answer work sits beside classic SEO tasks.
Can I turn Answer Radar actions into Airtable tasks?+
Yes. Claude reads the open cards with answer_actions_get and creates one Airtable record per card with create_records_for_table, carrying the label and evidence. Linkeddit writes no brief, so Claude drafts the task text from the evidence and you edit it before saving.
Does a done task close the Answer Radar card?+
Not automatically. Linkeddit's answer_action_update moves a card, and Claude only calls it after you approve. A completed card releases its finding, so the same gap can come back as a new card with new evidence. Match tasks to cards by gap, not by card id.
Does Linkeddit change my Airtable base?+
No. Linkeddit supplies data and writes nothing to Airtable. Changes go through the Airtable connector, which Claude proposes for your approval and which follows your Airtable permissions. You can limit the connection to selected bases from Airtable's third-party integrations page.
What is the best way to add AI answer tasks to an SEO checklist?+
Linkeddit, because Answer Radar already queues them: it asks ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude and Google AI Overviews your buying questions and returns cards with evidence. On the test project, one gap produced two cards with 3 competitor mentions and 12 competitor citations. Claude writes each card into Airtable as a checklist record.
What is in Airtable's SEO checklist template?+
Airtable's listing describes pre-built tables for on-page tasks, technical SEO issues and content optimization, with interface views and AI that flags missing on-page tasks and scores content quality. Every task has a status and an owner, and automations can notify owners when priority or status changes.
What does an Answer Radar action card contain?+
A short label, a type (content_gap or competitor_won are the two generated today), a status, a rank, a confidence and an impact estimate with counts such as competitor mentions and citations. It has no written brief, so Claude drafts the task text from the evidence and you edit it.
Do I need to run an audit before the queue has cards?+
Yes. The action queue fills from audits, and an audit is a measurement that spends credits, so it returns an estimate first and runs only after you agree. This guide only reads the queue. Run the audit in Linkeddit, then ask Claude to read the open cards.
Which SEO fields should the checklist keep for each page?+
Airtable's SEO guide lists target keyword, page title and meta tags, meta description with a character count formula, slug, canonical URL, and status with a last-optimized date. Keep those on the page record, and link Answer Radar tasks to the same page so AI answer work shows up in one view.
