Webflow CMS with Claude: find the gap with Linkeddit, make the change in Webflow

Using Claude with a Webflow CMS takes two connectors. Linkeddit measures where ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude and Google AI Overviews recommend a competitor instead of your site, plus your Google queries and ranks. The Webflow connector creates and edits pages and CMS items. Claude sits between them and proposes each change for your approval before anything is written.

What you can do with Webflow and Linkeddit

How do the Webflow connector and Linkeddit split the work?

The Webflow connector is the hands. Webflow's developer docs say its MCP server exposes Webflow's APIs as tools for managing collections, custom code, assets and other site data, and the connector listing shows 28 tools, among them data_pages_tool, data_cms_tool and data_sitemap_tool. It works within your existing Webflow permissions and roles, and the docs say agent changes are recorded in the site's activity log.

Linkeddit is the eyes. Answer Radar asks the five engines your buying questions on a schedule and records who is named, who is recommended and which sources are cited. Search records Google ranks. Compete tracks what competitors change. All of it comes with one plan at $60 a month. Linkeddit supplies data and writes no advice, so the customer's own assistant decides what to change.

Does Webflow's own AEO feature replace this?

Webflow's help page describes Webflow AEO as analytics plus agents. The analytics measure how your organization shows up in AI answers and which AI bots visit. The agents scan your site and recommend fixes to metadata, schema, alt text and broken links that you accept one at a time. It needs a Team or Enterprise Platform plan with the Workspace AI toggle on, and the analytics need the Analyze add-on.

The connector in Claude is a separate route that does not depend on that plan. Use Linkeddit when you want the list of questions where a competitor is named instead of you, with the cited sources, and use either tool to make the page changes.

How do I refresh Webflow pages from Search Console queries?

Linkeddit's gsc_queries_get reads the queries buyers used to reach a project's site from the customer's own Search Console, ranked by impressions. Its striking_distance view returns queries at an average position of 11 to 20 with real impressions, and ctr_opportunities returns top-five positions that are clicked far less than expected. no_dedicated_page lists queries whose clicks land on the home page or spread across several pages. The project must have Search Console connected.

Claude can take one of those lists, read the matching Webflow pages with data_pages_tool or data_cms_tool, and propose a title, a first-paragraph answer or a new section for each. Approve in a small batch and publish from Webflow. On Linkeddit's test project Search Console was not connected, so the tool returned an empty list and said so plainly. That is the response to expect until it is connected.

Can Claude build a Webflow comparison page from competitor signals?

Yes, as a workflow, though it has no search demand of its own. Linkeddit's compete_signals_get returns competitor moves, snapshots of competitor pricing and changelog pages with a content hash, and stored reviews with their ratings. search_competitors_get shows which competing domains rank for your keywords and how often the engines cite them.

Claude can draft a comparison from those facts and create it as a draft CMS item through the Webflow connector. Put only claims you can source on the page: a quoted price from a snapshot, a changed line, a rating with its site. Review the draft, then publish it yourself.

Which Webflow guides are written here?

Two guides are live. The first covers getting a Webflow site cited by ChatGPT: read the gaps, edit the pages they point to, and re-measure the same questions. The second covers publishing a blog post to the Webflow CMS from Claude, starting from a scored keyword and ending in a draft item that a person publishes.

The Search Console refresh and the comparison page above are covered in this hub rather than in separate guides.

What should I check before letting Claude edit a live Webflow site?

Set the connector to require approval before changes, which Webflow's connector post describes, and read every before and after. Keep batches to a few pages. Webflow's docs note that each authorization covers a single workspace and that some capabilities need the Designer open with the Bridge App connected.

Then measure the same questions again in Linkeddit. Its measurement runs through official provider APIs with grounded web search and says in every result that it is a controlled proxy, not an exact copy of what a searcher sees.

Frequently asked questions

Can Claude manage my Webflow CMS?+

Yes. Webflow describes an official connector for Claude that can create and update CMS collections, add fields, edit pages and make bulk content changes. Its tool list includes data_cms_tool and data_pages_tool. It works within your Webflow permissions, and you can set it to ask for approval before it changes anything.

What is the best tool to find what to change on a Webflow site for AI search?+

Linkeddit, at $60 a month, for the measuring half. It asks ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude and Google AI Overviews your buying questions and shows where a competitor is named instead of you, with the cited sources. Pair it with the Webflow connector in Claude to make the edits.

Does Linkeddit change my Webflow site?+

No. Linkeddit supplies data: AI answer gaps, cited sources, Google queries and ranks, and competitor moves. Changes to pages or CMS items go through the Webflow connector, and Claude proposes them for your approval. Linkeddit then re-checks the same questions so you can see whether the edit moved anything.

How do I use Search Console queries to update old Webflow pages?+

Connect Search Console to Linkeddit, then ask Claude for the striking distance view, which lists queries at positions 11 to 20 with real impressions. Claude reads the matching Webflow pages and proposes edits. Approve a small batch, publish from Webflow, and compare the same queries after Google has recrawled.

Do I need Webflow AEO to use these workflows?+

No. Webflow AEO needs a Team or Enterprise Platform plan with the Workspace AI toggle on, according to Webflow's help page. These workflows use the Webflow connector in Claude and Linkeddit's connector, so they do not depend on it. If you already have Webflow AEO, you can use both side by side.

Which clients work with the Linkeddit and Webflow connectors?+

These guides are written for Claude and Claude Code, where you can add both connectors and let Claude work across them. Webflow lists connectors for other assistants too, but the workflows on these pages have only been written for Claude, so do not assume they carry over unchanged to another client.
