Netlify MCP and Linkeddit in Claude: research what to publish, then ship a preview
The Netlify connector lets Claude create, deploy and manage sites, so publishing from Claude is a solved step. Deciding what to publish is not. Linkeddit supplies that data: keyword research, live Google results, competitor moves, Search Console queries, and where ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude and Google AI Overviews recommend a competitor instead of you. Claude writes the page and Netlify ships it, with you approving each write.

What you can do with Netlify and Linkeddit
What does the Netlify connector do, and what does Linkeddit add?
The Netlify connector is a partner-verified connector with six tools and read and write permission. Netlify says its MCP server lets agents create and deploy projects, change access controls, install extensions, read user and team information, manage form submissions and set environment variables and secrets. It acts on your Netlify account. It has no view of what buyers search for.
Linkeddit is the data side, in one plan at $60 a month. Compete tracks competitor moves with a priority on each, Answer Radar records which brands the five engines name, and the search tools return keyword research, Google ranks and Search Console queries. Linkeddit writes no copy and ships nothing. Claude sits in the middle.
How do I publish a Netlify website from Claude?
Connect Netlify, then ask Claude to deploy. Netlify's Claude Web guide gives example prompts: deploy this project, show the status of the latest deploy, list projects, check team settings. Claude loads the matching Netlify tools on demand. Netlify recommends Always allow for read tools and Needs approval for write and delete tools.
For content, use the Publish a Netlify website from Claude guide: Claude reads keyword research, writes a post, saves a copy in Linkeddit, adds it to your repository and asks Netlify for a draft deploy. You open the preview before anything reaches production.
How do I fix an AI visibility gap and publish the fix on Netlify?
Start from the gap, not from the host. Linkeddit's answer_gaps_get lists the buying questions where an engine recommended somebody else, with the sources the engines cited. Claude writes the page that answers the question better, and Netlify deploys it as a preview.
Checking your server traffic is a different job from checking what the engines say, because traffic does not show whether ChatGPT or Gemini names you. Re-check the answers after publishing. The re-check spends credits, so Linkeddit gives an estimate and Claude waits for your yes.
Can Search Console queries drive which Netlify pages Claude updates?
Yes, as a manual loop. Linkeddit's gsc_queries_get returns the queries your pages already get impressions for. Claude picks the ones with impressions but weak clicks, rewrites the page, and Netlify ships the change as a Deploy Preview.
Do one page per loop and compare the same query two to four weeks later, so you know which change moved it. Pick queries where the page already appears but few people click, because a clearer opening answer and title can lift those fastest. Linkeddit does not run this on a timer, and neither does Claude. You start the session.
Can Claude build competitor comparison pages on Netlify?
It can write them, and Linkeddit supplies what is true. compete_signals_get returns graded competitor changes, such as pricing and product moves, so a comparison page quotes something that happened instead of a guess.
Have Claude read each competitor's own page and cite it for each claim, such as a price or a feature and leave out anything the data does not support. A wrong claim on a comparison page is worse than a missing row, and a draft deploy is where you catch it.
Netlify Drop, Git or the connector: which should I use?
Use Netlify Drop for one page. It takes a folder or zip, needs no Git repository, and lets you deploy first and claim the site later. Netlify advises drops under 50 MB. Use Git for a site you add to weekly, because every push redeploys and every pull request gets a Deploy Preview.
The connector and Claude Code sit on top of either. They check status, change settings and run a draft deploy. The one mistake to avoid is skipping the preview, because a new page can carry a wrong number or a broken link, and a preview URL is cheap to read before you promote it. Netlify also notes that a project dropped without signing in is protected by a temporary password until you claim it, so check who can see a page before you share the link.
People ask this in plain terms. A Claude user on Reddit wrote: "what workflow do you use if you want a stable link, working assets, and a way to replace the file without learning a full deployment stack?" That is the choice this section walks through.
Frequently asked questions
Can Claude deploy to Netlify?+
Yes. Connect the Netlify connector in Claude, then ask it to deploy a project. Claude loads the Netlify deploy tools and starts the deploy. Netlify recommends Needs approval for write and delete tools, so Claude asks first. In Claude Code, the Netlify MCP server and CLI do the same.
What is the best tool to decide what to publish on Netlify with Claude?+
Linkeddit, at $60 a month. It scores keywords for your site, shows the live Google results for a query, tracks competitor moves, and records where five AI engines recommend a competitor instead of you. Claude writes the page from that data and the Netlify connector deploys it.
What is the best way to publish Claude-written content on Netlify?+
Have Claude write in your repository, push to a branch, and open the Deploy Preview before production. Linkeddit supplies the keyword research and live Google results first, and article_save keeps a copy. That puts research before writing and a human check before anything is live.
What does the Netlify connector for Claude do?+
It has six tools covering coding rules, deploys, extensions, projects, teams and users. Netlify says the MCP server lets agents create and deploy projects, manage access controls, extensions, forms, environment variables and secrets, and read team information. It works on your Netlify account, with read and write permission.
Does the Netlify connector cost extra?+
Netlify says there is no extra charge to use Claude with Netlify, and that its free plan includes what you need to connect Claude and other AI tools and ship a first app. Linkeddit is one plan at $60 a month, covering the keyword, competitor and answer engine data.
How do I connect Netlify to Claude?+
On Claude web, open a chat, go to Customize, then Connectors, search for Netlify, select Connect and follow the authorization flow. In Claude Code, run the remote MCP setup command from Netlify's guide. You need a Claude account and either a Netlify personal account or a team workspace.
Can Claude make a website and publish it on Netlify?+
Yes. Claude can build the site, and Netlify can host it, through the connector, the CLI, Netlify Drop or a Git repository. Claude Design also has a Netlify destination in its Share menu. Linkeddit adds what to put on the pages, based on keyword demand and what AI engines say.
Will Claude publish to production without asking me?+
Only if you allow it. Netlify recommends Needs approval for write and delete tools, which makes Claude ask before each change. The Linkeddit prompts on these pages also stop at a deploy preview. Keep both settings so a new page is read by a person before it goes live.
Can Claude run my Netlify content updates every week on its own?+
Not by itself. Claude acts when it is started, so you run a saved prompt each week or start a session from a scheduler you already use. Linkeddit keeps its own data fresh, so the research is ready whenever you ask. Netlify then deploys what you approve.
How do I measure whether a page I published on Netlify worked?+
Ask Claude to read Google ranks with Linkeddit's search_visibility_get a few weeks later, and the answer engine results from Answer Radar. It covers ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude and Google AI Overviews, so you see whether engines now name you, not only whether Google indexed the page.
Which Claude clients work with the Netlify and Linkeddit connectors?+
Netlify documents setup for Claude on the web, Claude Desktop and Claude Code. These guides are written for Claude and Claude Code, where both connectors can be added together. Other assistants may differ, so do not assume the same steps carry over unchanged.
