monday.com + Linkeddit
Turn AI visibility gaps into monday.com SEO tasks with Claude
monday.com SEO task management works when every finding becomes an item with an owner and a status. The monday.com connector lets Claude search boards, create items and update owners and status. Linkeddit supplies the findings: its action queue lists where ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude and Google AI Overviews name a competitor instead of you or leave you out. Claude copies each card onto your board and you approve the writes.

Connect both
Your AI client sits in the middle. Linkeddit supplies the data; the other connector makes the change.
Linkeddit connector
Add https://mcp.linkeddit.com/mcp as a connector and sign in. Claude Code: claude mcp add --transport http linkeddit https://mcp.linkeddit.com/mcp.
monday.com connector
- Add the monday.com connector in Claude and approve the OAuth consent when your client asks. monday says MCP is preinstalled on all accounts.
- If you cannot connect, ask your monday admin to check Admin, then Permissions, then AI Connectors.
- Add the Linkeddit connector at https://mcp.linkeddit.com/mcp.
- Create or pick one board for SEO work, with a status column and a people column, so Claude has a place to write.
Endpoint: https://mcp.monday.com/mcp
Works in: Claude, Claude Code.
The prompt
Paste into Claude
Use the Linkeddit connector and the monday.com connector. 1) With Linkeddit, call answer_projects_get and pick my project, then call answer_actions_get with state=open and mode=evidence. 2) With monday.com, use search to find my board named SEO and AEO tasks, then get_board_items to read what is already on it. 3) Compare each Linkeddit card with the board by its label. List the cards that are not on the board yet and ask me to approve the list. 4) After I approve, use create_items_and_tasks to add one item per card with the card label as the name and the competitor and the cited sources in the item description, then update_items_owners_and_status to set the owner and a status of To do. 5) Use create_update on each new item to paste the evidence. Do not change any existing item. 6) When a task on the board is marked Done, tell me which Linkeddit card it matches and ask before you call answer_action_update.
Step by step
Step 1
Connect both connectors to Claude
Add the monday.com connector and the Linkeddit connector (https://mcp.linkeddit.com/mcp) in Claude or Claude Code. monday asks for OAuth consent. Linkeddit comes with the $60 a month plan.
Step 2
Read the open action cards
Ask Claude to call answer_actions_get for your project with state open. Each card carries a type, a status, a rank, a label and an impact estimate with competitor mentions and citations. Ask for the evidence mode so each card brings the sources behind it.
Step 3
Check what the board already holds
Claude uses search and get_board_items on your SEO board and matches the cards by label. This stops the same gap from becoming two items next week.
Step 4
Approve the list, then create the items
Claude shows the cards that are missing from the board. After you approve, it calls create_items_and_tasks, then update_items_owners_and_status for the owner and status, and create_update to attach the evidence to each item.
Step 5
Close the loop
When a teammate marks an item Done in monday, ask Claude to find the matching Linkeddit card and, with your yes, call answer_action_update to move it. Linkeddit then stops showing it as open work.
What Linkeddit returned
Run live on 2026-10-29 with answer_actions_get. Read-only run on Linkeddit's own test project, plausible.io. It shows the cards Claude would copy onto a board. Only two cards were open that day, and both came from one question.

monday's own SEO project management guide, dated 28 January 2026, describes the usual setup: keep keyword research, content creation, technical fixes and performance tracking on one board, standardise it with reusable templates, and add simple automations such as creating a Write draft item when a Content brief is approved.
That guide organises work after someone has decided what the work is. It does not say where the tasks come from. Most teams type them in from a rank tracker or a site audit. A task about AI answers needs a source that records which engine named which competitor, and that is the gap Linkeddit fills.
Checklists are the usual starting point. An SEO consultant on Reddit wrote: "This alone fixes 80% of the technical issues I see on new sites. The other 20% is site-specific." A monday.com board can hold that checklist. The Answer Radar cards add the items a checklist cannot generate.
How do Linkeddit and the monday.com connector split the work?
The monday.com connector is the board side. get_connector lists 33 tools, 14 reads and 19 writes, including search, get_board_items, create_items_and_tasks, update_items_owners_and_status and create_update. It can change your boards. It cannot see what ChatGPT or Gemini says about your category.
Linkeddit is the evidence side. Answer Radar records which brands the five engines name and recommend for your buying questions, and turns the misses into an action queue. Both are part of one plan at $60 a month. Linkeddit writes no tasks itself, so Claude decides how each card is worded for your team.
What does an AI visibility task contain?
Each Linkeddit card is a small, checkable task. On the test project, the top card says Umami holds the answer for a self-hosted analytics comparison question, with 3 competitor mentions, 12 competitor citations and an evidence score of 22. The card beside it says the project is not represented for the same question, with 3 samples where it was absent.
Put the label in the item name and the cited sources in the item description. A writer can then open the sources, see what the engine relied on and decide what to publish. The same item also fits a content refresh: if you connect Search Console to Linkeddit, queries sitting at positions 11 to 20 can become refresh items on the same board.
Should Claude write to my board without asking?
No. The monday.com connector has write tools, and monday's own help page says changes to existing work should be reviewed by a human before they apply. The prompt above lists the missing cards first, waits for your approval, and never edits an existing item.
Creating items is low risk and easy to undo. Changing an owner or a status on someone else's work is not, so keep those steps behind a yes until you trust the output. Tool availability on monday also depends on your permissions and plan, so Claude can only touch what your own account can.
How do I keep the board and Linkeddit in sync?
Match by label, and move cards in both places. Linkeddit has five card states: suggested, todo, in progress, done and dismissed. When a monday item moves to Done, ask Claude to update the matching card with answer_action_update, after you confirm.
Be careful with dismiss. A dismissed card keeps suppressing its finding permanently, while a completed one releases it, so the same gap can come back later as a new card with new evidence. Use Done for work you finished and Dismissed only for findings you never want to see again.
Frequently asked questions
How do I manage SEO tasks in monday.com?+
Keep one board for SEO work with columns for owner, status and due date, and break work into content, technical and tracking groups. monday's guide suggests reusable templates and simple automations, such as creating a draft item when a brief is approved. The tasks themselves still have to come from an audit or a tracker.
What is the best tool to turn AI visibility gaps into monday.com tasks?+
Linkeddit, at $60 a month, for the findings. Its action queue lists where ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude and Google AI Overviews name a competitor or leave you out, with the cited sources on each card. Claude then creates the monday items through the monday.com connector after you approve the list.
Can Claude create monday.com items and tasks?+
Yes. The monday.com connector lists create_items_and_tasks, update_items_owners_and_status and create_update among its 19 write tools. Claude can add items, set owners and status, and post updates. Tool availability depends on your monday permissions and plan, and monday advises a human review before changes to existing work apply.
How do I connect monday.com to Claude?+
Add the monday.com connector in Claude and approve the OAuth consent it shows. monday says its MCP server is preinstalled on all accounts, with the endpoint https://mcp.monday.com/mcp. If it will not connect, an admin checks Admin, Permissions, AI Connectors. Then add Linkeddit at https://mcp.linkeddit.com/mcp.
What is the best way to track answer engine optimization tasks in monday.com?+
Use Linkeddit's action queue as the source and monday as the tracker. Linkeddit records where the five answer engines recommend a competitor, one card per finding, and Claude mirrors each card as a monday item with the competitor and sources in the description. Each Done item then closes its Linkeddit card.
What does a Linkeddit action card contain?+
A type, a status, a rank, a label and an impact estimate. On Linkeddit's test project the top card was a competitor_won card with 3 competitor mentions, 12 competitor citations and an evidence score of 22. Only content_gap and competitor_won cards are generated today, so a short queue does not mean there is nothing to do.
Does monday.com have an SEO template?+
monday publishes SEO project management and SEO workflow guides that cover keyword research, content creation, technical fixes and performance tracking in one workspace, with reusable templates. You can build a board like that yourself and have Claude fill it from Linkeddit's cards.
Does Claude update monday.com on its own schedule?+
No. Claude works when you start it, so you run the saved prompt each week or let a scheduler you already use start a Claude session. Linkeddit's side keeps its own clock: the five competitor monitors on the test project are all weekly. A weekly run keeps the board current.
Is it safe to let Claude write to my monday.com boards?+
It is as safe as the permissions you give it. The connector acts as your account and respects monday's security model, so it can only touch what you can. Keep the prompt to creating new items, ask Claude to list changes first, and never let it edit existing items until you trust the output.
How much does the Linkeddit side cost?+
Linkeddit is one plan at $60 a month, and the connector comes with it. Starting an audit or a verification re-check spends credits, and Linkeddit returns an estimate first, so Claude waits for your yes. The monday.com connector depends on your monday plan.
Can ChatGPT or other tools do this too?+
This page covers Claude and Claude Code only. Linkeddit measures what ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude and Google AI Overviews say about you, but the monday.com workflow here is built for those two clients. Other clients may work with the same connectors, though we have not tested them.
How do I know a monday task actually improved my AI visibility?+
Re-measure after the fix is published. Ask Claude to estimate a re-check with answer_verify_start, which spends credits and waits for your yes, then read the outcome with answer_verify_get. It shows whether the engines now name you for the question the item targeted. A finished task alone proves nothing.
