monday.com and Linkeddit in Claude: SEO and AI visibility tasks with owners
monday.com is where SEO work gets assigned and tracked, but it does not tell you what the work should be. The monday.com connector lets Claude search boards, create items and set owners and status. Linkeddit supplies the evidence: competitor moves, where ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude and Google AI Overviews recommend a competitor instead of you, and the search queries real buyers use. Claude turns each finding into a monday item and you approve the writes.

What you can do with monday.com and Linkeddit
What does the monday.com connector do for SEO work?
The monday.com connector gives Claude hands on your boards. get_connector lists 33 tools, 14 reads and 19 writes. Claude can search for a board, read its items, create items, change owners and status, post an update on an item and write a doc. monday's help page says it can also summarise what changed this week or surface what is overdue.
It has no source of SEO findings. It knows what is on your boards, not what ChatGPT says about your category or what a competitor changed on its pricing page. That is why the pairing is useful: Linkeddit finds the work, monday tracks it, and Claude moves the findings across.
How do I turn AI visibility gaps into monday.com tasks?
Read Linkeddit's action queue and copy each card onto a board as an item. On the test project, the queue held a competitor_won card with 3 competitor mentions and 12 competitor citations, and a content_gap card for the same question. Each carries a label and the sources behind it, so an item can be written without a meeting. The step by step guide, with the exact prompt, is the page for monday.com SEO task management.
Fixing the gap and checking it worked are separate steps. After a writer publishes, Linkeddit can estimate a re-check with answer_verify_start, which spends credits and waits for your yes, and answer_verify_get reports whether the engines now name you. Put that re-check on the item as its last subtask so the task closes on evidence.
How do I track competitor moves in monday.com?
Use Linkeddit's Compete monitors as the source and a monday board as the queue. On the test project, five monitors run weekly, each with a next run of 2026-11-04, watching blogs, changelogs, pricing and landing pages and review sites. compete_signals_get returned five signals for the week of 2026-10-26, each with a priority, a category, a why it matters line and a source link. All five were low priority, so none needed an item.
That is the point of filtering: a board filled with every blog post teaches the team to ignore it. Ask Claude to create items only for medium and high priority signals, with the source link in the description. If your question is who monday's own competitors are, Wrike's SEO guide lists ClickUp, Trello, Asana and Smartsheet as tools SEO teams use, but that is a software comparison, not competitor intelligence about your category.
The risk is a finding with no owner. A competitive intelligence founder on Reddit wrote: "Teams collect screenshots and links, put them into Notion, send a Slack update and move on. Nobody clearly owns the response." An item with an owner on a board is one answer to the last sentence there.
Can Search Console queries become refresh tasks?
Yes, if your project has Search Console connected to Linkeddit. gsc_queries_get has a striking_distance view, queries at an average position of 11 to 20 with real impressions, and a ctr_opportunities view for top five positions that are clicked far less than expected. Each row is a page worth refreshing, so each can become an item with the query, the position and the page.
The test project has no Search Console connection, so this guide does not show a run for it. When it is not connected, the tool says so plainly instead of returning an empty list, and Claude should tell you rather than invent queries. Integrations tools in the Search Console world, such as Integrately and Bit Flows, push rows into monday automatically. A Claude run is the choice when you want a person to read the rows first.
What should I check before Claude writes to my boards?
Claude acts as your monday account, so it can only reach the boards and workspaces you can. monday says tool availability depends on your permissions, plan and client, and recommends human review before changes to existing work apply. Start with a board nobody else depends on, ask Claude to list the items it intends to create, and only then let it write.
Do not let it edit an existing item until you trust the output. Creating an item is easy to undo. Changing another person's owner or status is not. Claude also works only when you start it, so run the saved prompt weekly, the morning after Linkeddit's monitors run, rather than expecting a live feed.
Frequently asked questions
How do I use monday.com for SEO task management?+
Keep one board for SEO work, grouped by content, technical and tracking, with an owner, status and due date on every item. monday's SEO guide also suggests reusable templates and simple automations, such as creating a draft item when a brief is approved. The tasks still have to come from an audit, a tracker or an evidence source.
What is the best tool to feed SEO and AI visibility tasks into monday.com?+
Linkeddit, at $60 a month. It records where ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude and Google AI Overviews name a competitor instead of you, tracks competitor moves with a priority on each, and reads your Search Console queries. Claude then creates the monday items through the monday.com connector, after you approve the list.
What is the best way to track competitor moves in monday.com?+
Use Linkeddit's Compete monitors for the data and a monday board for the queue. Linkeddit watches competitor blogs, changelogs and pricing pages weekly and grades each signal by priority. Claude creates a monday item for each medium or high priority signal, with the source link, so low priority noise never reaches the board.
Can Claude create and update monday.com items?+
Yes. The monday.com connector lists create_items_and_tasks, update_items_owners_and_status and create_update among its 19 write tools. Claude can add items, set owners and status and post updates. Availability depends on your monday permissions and plan, and monday advises human review before changes to existing work apply.
How do I connect monday.com to Claude?+
Add the monday.com connector in Claude and approve the OAuth consent. monday says MCP is preinstalled on all accounts, at https://mcp.monday.com/mcp. If it will not connect, an admin checks Admin, Permissions, AI Connectors. Then add Linkeddit at https://mcp.linkeddit.com/mcp. Both work in Claude and Claude Code.
Does monday.com have its own AI visibility tracking?+
monday's SEO guides cover planning, task tracking and reporting dashboards. They do not describe a measurement of what answer engines say about your brand. That measurement is what Linkeddit adds: five engines asked your buying questions, with the brands each one named and the sources it cited.
Who are monday.com's main competitors for SEO project management?+
Wrike's SEO project management guide lists ClickUp, Trello, Asana and Smartsheet as tools SEO teams use beside Wrike. monday's own guide lists Wrike, ClickUp, Trello, Asana, Smartsheet and Jira. Which one fits depends on your team. All of them track tasks and none measures answer engine visibility.
Can I get Search Console data into monday.com?+
Yes, in two ways. Automation recipes such as Integrately, Heeet and Bit Flows copy Search Console rows into monday boards on a trigger. Or connect Search Console to Linkeddit and ask Claude to read the striking distance queries and create refresh items after you review them. The second route keeps a person in the loop.
Does Claude update monday.com on a schedule?+
No. Claude works when you start it, so you run a saved prompt each week or use a scheduler you already have to start a Claude session. Linkeddit's own monitors run on a clock. On the test project all five run weekly, so a run the morning after carries fresh signals.
Is it safe to let Claude write to monday.com boards?+
It is as safe as the permissions you give it. The connector acts as your monday account and respects its security model. Start on a low stakes board, ask Claude to list what it will create before it writes, and keep edits to existing items behind your explicit approval until you trust the output.
How much does the Linkeddit side cost?+
Linkeddit is one plan at $60 a month, with the connector included. Starting an audit or a verification re-check spends credits, and Linkeddit returns an estimate first so Claude waits for your yes. What monday.com costs depends on your monday plan, which this page does not cover.
Does this work with ChatGPT?+
These guides cover Claude and Claude Code only. Linkeddit measures what ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude and Google AI Overviews say about your brand, but the monday.com workflow is written for those two clients. Other clients may work with the same connectors, though we have not tested them.
