Canva + Linkeddit
An AI share of voice report template: measured in Linkeddit, designed in Canva
An AI share of voice report shows, per engine, what share of the brands named in AI answers is yours, next to your presence rate and the sources cited. Spreadsheet templates make you type every row. With Linkeddit, the numbers come from measured runs across ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude and Google AI Overviews, and Claude lays them out as a branded Canva design.

The prompt
Paste into Claude
Use the Linkeddit connector and the Canva connector. 1) With Linkeddit, call answer_results_get for my project and answer_runs_get for the runs behind it. For every engine, list presence rate, recommendation rate, share of voice for me and my top four rivals, and the most cited domains, each with its numerator and denominator. Mark any engine with no usable samples as not measured instead of filling it in. 2) Draft a one-page summary per engine and one overview slide. Use only numbers returned by Linkeddit and show the sample counts on every slide. 3) With Canva, call generate-design with my Brand Kit to build the report from that draft. 4) Show me the design, then use export-design to export it as a PDF after I approve. Do not change any number while laying it out.
Step by step
Step 1
Connect both connectors to Claude
Add the Canva connector and the Linkeddit connector (https://mcp.linkeddit.com/mcp) in Claude. Canva's connector is available in Claude, so this workflow is written for Claude only.
Step 2
Pull the measured numbers
Ask Claude to call answer_results_get for your project. Each engine comes back as its own segment with presence rate, recommendation rate, share of voice, mean position and citation share, each with a numerator and denominator. Call answer_runs_get to see which runs sit behind the figures.
Step 3
Decide the report frame before designing
Fix the engines, the buying questions and the competitor set, and keep them the same every time. Tell Claude to mark any engine with no usable samples as not measured, so an empty segment is never shown as zero.
Step 4
Have Claude build the design in Canva
Claude calls generate-design with your Brand Kit, using only the figures from step two. Review the draft in Canva, ask for changes in plain language, and keep the sample counts visible on each slide.
Step 5
Export and file the report
Approve the design and Claude exports it with export-design. Use create-folder and move-item-to-folder to keep each month's report together, then run the same questions next month and compare like with like.
What Linkeddit returned
Run live on 2026-10-29 with answer_results_get. Read-only run on Linkeddit's own test project (an analytics site), trimmed to the fields a report needs. Five engine segments returned figures. Perplexity returned no usable samples and is reported as not measured.

The core of the report is one number per engine: how often your brand is named, compared with every other brand named in the same answers. The templates that rank for this query agree on the shape. ai-visibility-software.com gives a nine column spreadsheet (prompt, engine, run date, brand mentioned, position, sentiment, competitor mentions, cited URL, notes) and the formula mentions divided by all mentions in the competitor set, times 100. Its worked example turns 28 mentions against 41 for a rival into 31.1%.
Riseklix adds the rest of a reporting page: citation coverage, citation share, answer accuracy and Search Console impressions, and notes that a brand can be mentioned often and still be described poorly. So a useful report has share of voice, presence, position and cited sources side by side, not one blended score.
Linkeddit's definition is strict about the denominator. A vendor named anywhere in a sample counts once for that sample, only products count, and the shares add up to 1 across vendors, so a long product list cannot inflate a score. That is the same idea AuthorityTech calls an open denominator, where brands you did not list still count against you.
Why is a spreadsheet template not enough?
A template tells you what to record. It does not collect anything. Someone has to ask each engine each question, read each answer, and type the names into the columns. AuthorityTech's protocol says one response is one observation, not a stable measurement, and ai-visibility-software.com recommends averaging at least five runs per prompt. By hand that is hundreds of rows before the first chart.
Linkeddit collects the runs on a schedule and returns the counts. On the test project, ChatGPT named the brand in 16 of 18 admissible samples, and the brand held 16 of 78 vendor votes, a 20.5% share of voice. Gemini gave 17 of 113, or 15.0%. The same brand scores differently on different engines, which is why the report is per engine.
Linkeddit supplies the data and does not write the analysis. Claude reads the figures and decides what to highlight, and you decide what goes to the client or the board.
How do I turn the numbers into a branded Canva report?
Canva's announcement of the Claude connector says users can apply their Brand Kit when generating designs with Claude, so the first draft already uses their colours and fonts. The connector listing shows 17 tools, 12 reads and 5 writes, including generate-design, export-design, search-designs and add-comment-thread-to-design. Claude can build the report, you can comment on it, and Claude can export it.
Keep the division of labour clear. The figures come from Linkeddit, the layout comes from Canva, and the prompt tells Claude not to change a number. One viewer on a YouTube video about automating Canva posts with Claude wrote that great content cannot simply be automated. For a report that goes to a client, read every slide against the source numbers before you export.
What should the report never claim?
Linkeddit measures through official provider APIs with grounded web search, and every result says so: it is a controlled measurement proxy, not an exact copy of what a person sees in consumer ChatGPT or Google. Put one line to that effect in the footer of the report.
Show gaps in the data as gaps. In the live run Perplexity returned errors for all 21 samples, so it has no figure, and Google AI Overviews appeared in 16 of 21 samples, with 5 showing no overview at all. A zero there would be wrong. A dash with the reason is right.
Finally, compare like with like. Change the prompt set, the engines or the competitor list and the trend line is no longer a trend, a point AuthorityTech makes about its own counting rules. Record the frame on the first slide.

Frequently asked questions
How do I calculate AI share of voice?+
Divide the number of times your brand is named in AI answers by the total brand mentions across the same questions and engines, including competitors. A brand with 28 mentions, against 62 between its competitors, holds 31.1%. Count a brand once per answer, and average repeated runs, since a single response is not a stable measurement.
What should an AI share of voice report include?+
Per engine: share of voice, presence rate, recommendation rate, average position and the most cited sources, each with sample counts. Add the question set, the competitor list and the run dates so the next report is comparable. Mark engines with no usable samples as not measured rather than zero.
What is the best tool to build an AI share of voice report?+
Linkeddit, at $60 a month, for the measuring half. It asks ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude and Google AI Overviews your buying questions and returns share of voice, presence and cited sources with numerators and denominators. Claude then lays the figures out in Canva through the Canva connector.
Can Claude make a report in Canva?+
Yes. Canva's Claude connector lets Claude generate and export designs, and Canva says it can apply your Brand Kit so the draft is on brand. The connector lists tools such as generate-design and export-design. You approve the design in Canva, and Claude exports it only after you ask.
Does Linkeddit write the report or the design?+
No. Linkeddit supplies measured data: share of voice, presence, position and cited sources. Claude, your own assistant, reads that data and builds the layout through the Canva connector. This keeps the numbers traceable to a run, so you can check any slide against the source rather than trusting generated text.
How often should I refresh an AI share of voice report?+
Monthly is a sensible default for a client report, with weekly checks on priority questions. AuthorityTech recommends repeated samples because generated answers vary between runs. Keep the questions and competitor set fixed between reports, or the comparison stops meaning anything.
Does this work with ChatGPT?+
Not for this workflow. Canva's connector is listed for Claude only, so the guide is written for Claude. Linkeddit still measures ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews as engines, and those figures appear in the report. Only the assistant that builds the design must be Claude.
