Linking Keyword Research to Campaigns
Keyword research jobs are standalone by default, but you can link them to CMS campaigns to keep your research organized alongside the campaign's content, subreddit targets, and research reports. Linked keyword jobs feed directly into the keyword-driven content generation path.

Why link keyword research to campaigns
Linking keyword research to a campaign creates a direct connection between your keyword data and your content workflow. It keeps related research visible in the campaign's Keywords tab, provides keywords for the keyword-driven content generation path, and uses the campaign's product overview as context for AI scoring.
Without linking, keyword research jobs exist in isolation. You would need to manually copy keywords from the keyword research section to the CMS content generation interface. Linking streamlines this workflow by making your keyword data available directly within the campaign.
How to link an existing keyword job
Navigate to the Keywords tab in your campaign. Click the Link Existing button. A modal opens with a search bar where you can search your keyword research jobs by name. Find the job you want to link and click the Link button. The job now appears in your campaign's Keywords tab.
Jobs that are already linked to another campaign show the campaign name in the modal. You can still link them to a different campaign, but this will remove them from the previous campaign. Each keyword research job can be linked to only one campaign at a time.
Creating new keyword research for a campaign
Click New Research from the Keywords tab to create a new keyword research job. This takes you to the keyword research creation form. The new job will appear in your global keyword research list and can be linked to the campaign afterward.
When running keyword research that you plan to link to a campaign, use the campaign's product overview as your product context input. This ensures the AI scores keywords based on the same product description the CMS uses for content generation, maintaining consistency across your workflow.
Unlinking keyword research
To remove a keyword job from a campaign, click the Unlink button next to the job in the Keywords tab. The keyword data is not deleted, just disconnected from the campaign. The job remains available in the standalone keyword research section and can be linked to a different campaign.
Unlinking does not affect any content pieces that were generated from those keywords. The content remains in your campaign's kanban board regardless of whether the source keyword job is still linked.
Using linked keywords for content generation
From the Content tab, click Generate with AI and choose the Keyword path. The generation interface shows keywords from your linked keyword research jobs. Select the keywords you want to create content for, choose a target subreddit, and the AI generates tailored drafts using both the keyword data and your campaign context.
For best results, use keywords with high priority scores (7.0 or above) and commercial or transactional intent. These keywords represent the highest-value content opportunities and the AI generates more focused, actionable content when targeting specific, high-intent keywords.
FAQ
Can I link multiple keyword jobs to the same campaign?
Yes. You can link as many keyword research jobs as you want to a single campaign. All linked jobs appear in the Keywords tab and their keywords are available for content generation.
Does linking a keyword job copy the data?
No. Linking creates an association, not a copy. The keyword data stays in the original job. If you run additional analyses or change keyword statuses, those changes are reflected in the campaign's Keywords tab in real time.
What happens to linked keywords if I delete the campaign?
Deleting a campaign removes the link but does not delete the keyword research job. The job remains available in the standalone keyword research section and can be linked to a new campaign.
