AI Content Generation: Create Reddit Posts with AI in the CMS
The AI content generator in the Linkeddit CMS produces full Reddit post drafts tailored to your campaign context, target subreddit, and chosen generation path. It combines your campaign's product information, brand voice, and subreddit guidelines with real Reddit data to create posts that are relevant, readable, and aligned with community norms.

Opening the content generator
From the kanban board, click the Generate with AI button near the top of the board. This opens the generation modal, where you select a target subreddit, a post type (discussion, advice, showcase, or question), and a generation path. All fields must be filled in before the generation request can be submitted.
You can also open the generator from within an existing content card by clicking the Regenerate button inside the editor. This allows you to keep the same subreddit and post type but switch the generation approach or starting prompt to try a different angle.
Generation paths
The CMS offers four generation paths. Keyword-driven generation lets you provide a specific keyword or topic phrase and asks the AI to build a post around it. This is useful when you have a particular angle or search term you want to target.
From research generates content using the insights from a previously created research report for the target subreddit. The AI draws on post patterns, engagement data, and recommendations from the report to write something likely to resonate with that specific community. Competitor analysis uses competitor landscape data from your campaign settings to frame posts around problem-aware positioning. Bulk generation lets you produce multiple content pieces at once by providing a list of keywords or topics, which is useful for filling a content calendar quickly.
Reviewing and editing AI drafts
Generated content lands in the Draft column of the kanban board. Open the card to see the full post title, body copy, and target metadata. Review the draft against the subreddit's posting guidelines and your brand voice before making edits.
The editor provides a rich text interface for manual edits. You can rewrite sections directly, adjust the headline, change the post type, or reassign the subreddit target. Most AI-generated drafts need at least minor personalization before they are ready to post. Common edits include adding a specific detail about your product, adjusting the opening hook, or shortening long paragraphs.
Using the editor AI chat for revisions
The editor includes a persistent AI chat panel on the right side. You can ask the AI to revise the draft in natural language, for example: make this shorter, rewrite the intro to be more conversational, add a question at the end to encourage replies, or remove any mention of pricing.
The chat has context of the current draft and your campaign settings, so revision requests do not require you to re-explain the product or goal. Accepted changes from the chat are applied directly to the editor, and you can undo them if the revision does not match what you wanted.
FAQ
Does the AI automatically post content to Reddit?
No. The AI generates drafts only. All publishing decisions are made by you, and posting to Reddit requires you to copy the content and submit it manually through Reddit's interface.
Can I regenerate a post if I do not like the first result?
Yes. Open the content card and click Regenerate to produce a new draft using the same settings, or change the generation path and prompt before regenerating to try a different approach.
What AI model is used for content generation?
The CMS uses GPT-5.4-mini for content generation and the editor chat. This model balances speed and output quality well for Reddit-length content.
