Building Your Webhook Receiver

The webhook receiver is the bridge between your trigger events and Claude Channels. It needs to do three things: accept incoming webhooks, construct a prompt, and forward it to the Claude Channels API. Below is the general pattern.

Error Handling and Rate Limits

Automated systems need to handle failures without human intervention. Here are the key failure modes and how to address each one.

Failure Modes and Mitigations:

MCP Rate Limit Exceeded

Linkeddit MCP allows 1,000 requests per day and 30 per minute. If you hit the limit:

  • Space out scheduled tasks (5+ minutes between digest triggers)
  • Reduce the number of subreddits per query

Webhook Delivery Failure
